NRA Basic Pistol Course

The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course is designed to teach the fundamentals of handgun safety, maintenance, ownership, and marksmanship to a wide range of students. This is the perfect class for someone who is brand new to handguns and wants to learn the basics. If you are a more experienced handgun shooter who wants more formal training on the correct techniques this is also the class for you. Excellent starter course for someone who wants to take the next step of carrying but would like a little more confidence.

The next course will be held at Bliss Gun and Ammo located at 3805 Ranger Dr Bryan, TX 77801  

The course dates will be on the 20th of May from 5:30 - 9:30 PM for the classroom and on the 21st of May from 8:00 - 12:00 AM for the Range portion. The cost of the course is $100 with a $25 deposit and it does include range time. Once you register, you will receive an email that tells you what you need to bring and what to expect. You will need to bring eye and ear protection, close toed shoes, a hat, a notebook and writing material, the pistol you would like to shoot and a minimum of 100 rounds of ammo, but we recommend 200.
